Staff
We have a small team of dedicated child-care professionals at Dunholme Pre-School that make sure all children are supported and cared for throughout their time with us. Our staff are always happy to speak with parents on an individual basis, and we will tell you as soon as you start who your child’s dedicated Key Person is so that you can liaise with them about your child.
We always aim to exceed the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage Welfare Requirements’ in regards to the childcare qualifications our staff are required to hold, and we are committed to developing staff and supporting them to access further qualifications.
Leanne Walker
Manager
Leanne has over 25 years experience in childcare and has a foundation degree in early years, along with a level 3 in SEND for the early years.
She is the lead SENDco for the setting and head of safeguarding.
Leanne is also a dedicated key person.
Rachel Pettifer
Deputy manager
Rachel is fully qualified teacher with over 20 years experience of working with young children, in both schools and early years settings.
She is the lead mentor for staff training and support and the health and safety officer for the setting.
Rachel is also a dedicated key person.
Megan Mitchell
Early years educator
Megan has over 16 years experience, working with children across early years and primary settings. She has a degree in Early childhood studies.
Megan is a dedicated key person.
Alex Bullivant
Early years educator
Alex has over 17 years experience in childcare and is level 3 qualified in childcare and education. She is Elklan trained and is our lead communication and EAL co-ordinator.
Alex is a dedicated key person.
Kirsty Cooper
Early years educator
Kirsty has a level 3 qualification in childcare and education and over 4 years experience in an early years environment.
Kirsty is a dedicated key person.
Ashleigh Stamp
Early years educator
Ashleigh volunteered with us for 6 months before joining the team as a paid member of staff. She is level 3 qualified in childcare and education. She is the creative lead for the setting.
Ashleigh is a dedicated key person.
Chantelle Bradford
Early years educator
Chantelle has a level 3 qualification in childcare and education. Chantelle is new to the Early years sector, volunteering in a local playgroup, whilst gaining her qualification.
Chantelle is a dedicated keyperson.
